Tree Top Walk

Just now I went to Macritchie Tree Top Walk for a hike with mummy and daddy.
Gigi did not go because mum said that it'll be too tiring to have her around.So,she was broght to Ah Mah's house.The whole journey was 7km and we walked for 3 whole hours with only 10 minutes' rest at the Jelutong tower. The tower was very tall with spiral staircase, about 6 stories high.We also walked on a steel bridge which has lots of small boards with descriptions of plants and animals found in the canopy.
The bridge was very tall and I could see all the tallest trees as we walked along.I even saw a tree without leaves!

After crossing the bridge, it started to rain heavily.Daddy didn't want the umbrella so mum and I shared it. Luckily the rain stopped after a while and we continued our journey happily. We saw a purple flower and picked it up when we were going to the toilet. The flower is very small and cute,with whitish middle. The flower grew in a small bunch of 2-5, on a long thick, unique-looking stem that pointed upwards, about 5cm higher than the flowers. Its leaves has jagged edges.

Amanda

The experiment we did with Amanda was very fun.We did 3 experiments all together.The experiments we did was:soaking chalk in vinegar and water,putting the vinegar into the milk,and heating 6 things.The 6 things are an egg, some sugar,salt,flour,bread and a yakult bottle.Amanda has long,straight hair,big eyes and a small mouth.She looks very pretty,just like me.Her school is in Canberra Primary School.Next year she will be in primary 3 but next year I will be in primary 2.

Birthdays!

Today is Gigi's two year old birthday!I like the party very much.Kenneth and Anna were invited. We celebrated Gigi's birthday at Ah ma's house.When mum and I reached their house,Kenneth and Anna were already there .I watched Kenneth play the soccer game on the TV straight away when I reached there.After dinner, we cut the nice chocolate cake with peaches and cherries on top.I served the cake to the elders first and then I ate the cake.

Changi beach

Mummy, daddy, Gigi and I went to Changi beach today.Initially we planned to go East Coast Park but dad worried that it might be too crowded over there,so we changed our destination. Everybody in the family picked a few seashells each. Mummy and I roller bladed on the bicycle path after that. Mummy said that she could not do it well since she didn't practise for ages.However,when she tried doing it, she could do it faster and better than me! We were already drenched in perspiration althought we only played for about 15 minutes. We stopped skating after mum complained about her shoes being too tight.Next time she shall try using thinner socks.

A very fun Christmas!

Our grandparents brought us to a place called Har Par Villa on the beautiful Christmas day. It was a cloudly day, perfect for any outings. First we drove to Har par Villa which was a nicer place than Bukit Chandu.It has flowers and lots of other things around.When we look forward, we saw a tiger's head infront of a vintage car on display.Gigi was frightened when she saw it.Mum had been to Har Par Villa before when she was at my age.After walking for sometime,we were tired and found a bench beside the canteen to rest.I took alot of pictures of the statues over there while they were still eating the fruits slowly.

Bukit Chandu is a museum in a bungalow house at Bukit Panjang.It was the last place where the Japanese and British fought fiercely during World War 2.After this fierce battle, the British surrender to the Japanese.I've tried answering some of the questions on the wall, but didn't guess it correctly.

Christmas Eve

Early morning I went for a party with Da lao gu who brought Anna, Kenneth and I to the Health zone. Lao da gu brought us for lunch at Bishan Junction 8 before returning home.

In the evening,Ah mah went with us to the Sembawang shopping center.Mum bought a pair of therapy glasses for me.I wore it during Xiao Niang re show and it was fantastic as I can see all the subtitles very clearly.

Growing!

Yesterday I planted some green beans in a bottle with cotton wool in it.To my surprise, when I saw it this morning,it has started to sprout!!!

A fun day

In the morning I woke up late.Mummy,daddy and Gigi were already up and they asked me to hurry because they wanted to go and buy a sofa and 2 chairs.They brought me to Ah Ma's house with Gigi along. While waiting for Anna and Kenneth to come and play, Gigi and I watched Barney.When Anna and Kenneth reached Ah Ma's house, Er Shu said Anna must return home to bath while Kenneth remains in Ah Ma's house.

In the afternoon,we sat on a minibus and went to Jurong West Sports hall for Auntie Wanyi's baby's 1st month celebration.Crystal was also there too! We had alot of fun playing with floating balloons.Daddy helped us get the balloons down.I had four balloons, Anna had five while Crystal had seven.Kevis Biao di had 12 balloons in total!!!We played catching and Keivis was the catcher.

Teacher Selena

Today when mummy was talking to teacher Selena,I felt cheeky and shouted "Hello Teacher Selena" while mum was still on the phone with her.

Eating sweets!

When daddy and I fetched Gigi home from child care,she was holding a goodie bag containing different kinds of sweets because it was her friend's birthday.How I wish every day is my birthday then I can get a goodie bag every single day.When we reached home,I asked mummy,"Can we eat all the goodies in the goodie bag?" We started eating it all up after mum has agreed to my request.There were shan zha gao,the eight-shaped chocolates,marshmellows and cheese rings.

Ah ma!

I have performed a feat today-I roller bladed to Ah ma's house.Ah ma,daddy and Ah gong were very surprised to see that I can roller blade quite well.I roller bladed
all the way to Ah ma's house returned home without falling.

Funny Gigi

When we were walking down the slope towards our house,my baby sister little Gigi suddenly tunred around and made a funny face. She then continued to walk and then she made another funny face.We had a good laugh.

When we reached home, Gigi said "tong tong! cha you" (painful, put oil).So mummy gave her the cream.Then mummy said "Wo ye tong tong" (me too),then while Gigi was touching mummy,she frowned and said "Sayang sayang." extremely adorable behavior.

A learning day.

Ice cream making is a very fun thing.Did you know that there were 9 people there?

Today 1st day of Global education for Maths Olympiad training.I have enjoyed myself very much.The English teacher was called Mr.Wee

shopping!

Today,I went shopping with mummy,Ahma,daddy,Kenneth and Anna in Turf City.We went to the "Giant" shopping mall and shopped first.I was watching a show called Frosty the snowman so I did not see what mum bought but I only know that she bought alot of things there.

Roller blading with Yun Shao.

Today I played roller blading with Yun Shao at our playground in the afternoon.I hardly fell down during the 2 hours of blading.Even though mummy didn't have roller blades,she still played with me after they left, by playing catching together.

Yesterday,mummy was irated when she saw me roller blading in the house .I just wanted to show of my new roller blades to my friends.

Winx Club

Today,I watched Winx Club with mummy in the cinema.There were only 2 families including us, watching the show.Bloom was actually a princess and her parents was a king a queen.The three evil witches were asking her to take the sword which only
the king can touch.Bloom's boy friend,Sky,rescued her by pulling the sword out.He also said"I am a king"to her.

then.I was very wary of the srounnding angd saw 5 people playing together.

8/12/08 (Mon)

Today,everybody in the family went for dinner at Pastamania.I ate a personal pizza,a few mouthful of pasta and also a small sausage from Gigi's pasta.I ate the most food out of everybody sitting at the same table as me.

Today I watched Kongfu Panda which is a comical show.Panda sat on the chair and lighted the candles. He flew off like a rocket, to the circus. The old tortoise, who was KongFu Panda's Shifu's father, saw him flying on the chair and appointed him as the dragon warrior.Tai Lang was actually the real dragon warrior and he has wanted to fight Po.Tai lang wanted the dragon scroll because he wanted the power of it so that he can fight well.Kongfu Panda's father is a duck while the Shifu is a long tailed racoon.

Today is a fun day because I napped in the afternoon and stayed up late. We went library together and I read one Asterix story while mum was away.I waited for mum for a long time until my buttock was painful (for sitting too long).We went shopping together in Popular bookshop after mum returned. Mum bought one Pri 3 English assessment book for me. While waiting for mum near the entrance, I watched the Kong Fu Panda show.

After visiting Popular bookshop, we went to the foodcourt to eat a mango ice kachang.We quickly rushed home to watch Little Nonya, my 1st time watching this show.

24 fillial piety camp day 3

Today mum, Angel and I took a bus to Waterloo street for the Chinese camp.On the bus,Angel and I did a vocabulary crossword puzzle and a Math quiz given by mum.I finished the Math quiz first and Angel finished the crossword puzzle first.We had alot of fun together.

In today's Chinese camp,we played three games and practised 雨小孩 song for the afternoon performance. After that, we practised the two poems 今天我来当爸爸 and 小板凳. We had fried rice, cabbage and meat for lunch.The girls and boys each performed
a show.
I had nose bleed before I slept at night.

24 fillial piety camp day 2

Today is the 2nd day of the camp. Angel and I didn't play or talk to each other much. I've made 2 things for mum and dad as a surprise for tomorrow. We revised alot of poems and songs sang yesterday.

I experienced nosebleed during the camp.The teacher asked me to pinch my nose at a much higher level than I normally pinch.

24 fillial piety camp day 1

Today I went to the Chinese camp in Waterloo Street. It was very fun as there were many games and only little bit of work. Angel also joined the camp.Besides playing games, we also learned poems and sing 1 song (Yu xiao hai). At lunch,I ate some rice,meat and vegtables.The camp was until 5:00 (5 o'clock) and Angel's mum brought me home.

Most of the time, Angel and I sat together,but some times we are separated during game time. Some examples of the games are "What time is it?", "Duck duck goose", "Bing" and alot more games.During tea break, we were given bread but I didn't eat because it was not nice (contains tuna and cheese). I just drank 2 cups of milo. When Angel and I were on our way to the MRT, we played "scissors, paper, stone". I also read a Mr. Midnight book on the MRT.Angel's mother also
brought baby cousin who is cute and chubby.She also looked like Angel's sister.

24-28/11/08 海南岛

We went Hai Nan Dao on the 2nd week of school holiday. It was a fantastic trip.Po po,Amah and Gong gong also went together.There were 2 families (including our family) in the tour group.The tour guide is very good to me. She always holds my hand and brings me along. We slept in three different hotels during our five days four nights' stay in Hai Nan Dao. On the first and the last night,we stayed in the same luxurious hotel named 宝华酒店.Although the hotel was very small, I still like it very much. I bought some souvenirs for my friends and relatives. Bought a spinning top for Kenneth and a few bracelets made out of sea shells for my girlfriends and relatives (Kristy, Angel, Joleen, Anna, and Crystal).

Last day in Creative Writing.

Today is the last day for the Creative writing class in Jelutung CC. Everyone in the class enjoyed themselves very much because teacher gave us something new---vocabulary game and three comprehension worksheets to do.I didn't contribute anything during the vocabulary game because I didn't know what to say. The game was very fun and it goes like this: when teacher come up with a word, students will shout out another word that has the same meaning.For example, teacher says "beautiful", then students shout "pretty" and "gorgeous".....

Swimming in Queen's Town

Today,I went swimming with Anna and Kenneth in Queen's Condo.When we reached there,Po po and Gong gong was enjoying their morning swim.

In-line skating

Mum and I went Bukit Batok for in-line skating in the afternoon.This is the first time I try in-line skating and I love it. Auntie May Kee brought her 2 kids Yunshao and Yunzhen for the lesson too. I've learnt the correct way of standing up and falling down so that we don't hurt ourselves.I think I've learned faster than Yunshao because he kept falling down. I wish I can go there everyday. I want to be best in doing everything.

helping out in the school

Today,I followed mum to school because of the P1 orientation.I helped out in many things like,collecting the student's test papers, giving out my storybooks to the children after they have finished doing their papers, and lots more. It was very fun.

To the Zoo

Today I went to the zoo with auntie Cuilian and Auntie May Kee.They also brought their kids along.We watched two shows and saw some animals. After that, we went to the water playground which was very fun. Yun Shao, Bing En and I played in the water playground but we didn't play with each other. After about 1 hour, I felt tired and went to where mum was sitting. I was hungry so I ask mum to order KFC chicken for me and continued playing. After 10 minutes I returned to eat but mum was still chatting with Auntie May Kee. While waiting for mum to buy chicken for me, I ate Yun Shao's potato chips (9 pieces). Auntie May Kee drove us home and I ate another 2 pieces of potato chips.

We went dinner at Ah Mah's house. Ah Mah taught me how to make the Agar agar which was very easy to make. The agar agar can be put into different shapes and sizes. The following are the steps in making agar agar:

1) Take 3 tablespoons of sugar, mix into the pink powder which is in the pot.
2) Pour water into the pot until the pot is almost full.
3) Stir the solution and taste to see if its sweet enough.
4) Continue to stir it until the water bubbles start to appear.
5) Pour agar solution into the different shaped moulds
6) Wait for the hot moulds to cool down before putting into the fridge.

Visited Bryan's house

Today I went for dancing class in school 8.30-11.30am. I was the leader of the dance because the two Pri 3 leaders didn't turn up as they went to the Singapore Flyers (a learning place to Singapore). Alot of people didn't turn up for the lesson.

In the afternoon, after Gigi woke up about 4pm, we visited Bryan's house. It was very fun playing with him over there. We played a Spelling game and I was the winner. We only played one game because there was no time. Mum went NTUC to buy eggs while we continued our spelling game. Bryan and I wanted to play a racing game but, mum came back to pick me up already and I felt disappointed.

Sentosa Trip

Today,I went Sentosa with daddy only.I had a good time at Sentosa.It was very fun.I played alot of games and won alot of prizes at the games carnival. The fun part is that even if we can't win,we'll still get prizes. There were many more games there but not enough time to play.We had lunch at Sentosa.It was an awful lunch given by SAF, with fish fillet,some vegetables and meat. There was also a stall selling candy floss ,pop corn and ice cream.

We played sky riding which is similar to cable car, but without shelter. It is just a bench for 4 people to sit on, with safety gadget infront of the seat.We also sat on something which brought us to the height of 240metres.While the thing is moving,I caught sight of the merlion.The merlion was shorter than us! I saw some people standing on the merlion's head.After knowing that the Merlion is a building ,I pleaded daddy to let me stand on the Merlion's mouth but he said that it was too late and mum will scold him.

Madagascar 2

Today,mum and I went to the Cinema in Sunplaza to watch a movie.The movie was a very fasinating show. Mum was so kind to give me a sweater during the show.The show Madagascar was very interesting and funny, but I think High School Musical is better.

今天早上我跟妈妈，Cherry 阿姨，Ginny 阿姨和她们的孩子们一起去动物园。在游乐场玩时，我不小心撞到觜巴，疼了一整天。

今天我们在学校庆祝中秋节， 六点半开始，九点结束。可是，因为不好玩，我们八点多就回家了。

今天美术老师没有教美术课，但是她给我们看Josh 的作品。他的作品很特别，用毛笔点出图画来。

九月九日 星期二 晴

今天在学校跳舞跳到下午四点半， 平时三点半就下课了。妈妈和妹妹一起来学校接我。我们在台上练习了大概一个小时。杨老师说我在跳舞时，我的笑容很美，我很开心。

傍晚，妈妈带我和妹妹一起到 Country Mana 吃我最想要吃的烤饭 (baked rice),真开心。

今天是假期的第一天。我没有上学不过还得去学校练习跳舞。

My birthday party

Today is my birthday party and I invited 20 friends. I was very scared at first but,later I took part in all the games (including those that my friends could think of).We played many games organised by my mum and had alot of fun! My friends and I ate 4 boxes of large pizzas and some home cooked food from Ah ma.At the end of the party,I opened all of my presents. The nicest of all presents was from Adeline.It was a musical box with a ballerina dancing as graceful as a swan.It was an extremely wonderful day for me.

Today,during art class,Mdm Wee taught us instead of Mdm Hasnita.Kristy and Angel bullied and made me cry.

High School Musical 3

Just now,I watched High School Musical 3 with my mum.After 15 minutes of commercials,the show started.It was a very fascinating show.In the show,there was a funny part that I like.The funny part was like this--When the two new boys were changing, Troy and Chad took their clothes and the two boys chased after them,half naked .Then Troy and Chad ran up on stage and the two half naked boys went on stage.Some High School Musical girls were rehearsing some songs when they came up on stage.Everybody laughed at the 2 naked boys.Taylor quickly took a picture of them and send the pictures to everybody in the school.

八月二十九日 星期五 阴

今天我又上台了，不过这次是领奖因为我的Sudoku 数学比赛得了第一名。上台的时候觉得很开心，但是很紧张。我跟校长握手时，觉得他的手很粗也很大。我喜欢那座亮晶晶的奖杯因为它可以用来喝水。

今天我也有庆祝教师节。有最有善奖(Mr. Chia), 最壮奖 (Mr. Yaidi)，最可爱奖和服装奖 (徐老师），全部由学生投票， 然后校长分发奖励给老师们的。

八月二十七日 星期三 雨

今天在集会上，我和其他四位同学一起上台表演“Bad Hair Day” 。Choh老师要我们在休息时间,吃好之后就去找她。老师帮我绑头发，因为我是主角。在台上我很紧张, 紧张得忘了做动作。我希望下次上台的时候不会这么紧张。
